I Heard the First Lucy Giggle Today!!!

Lucy and I were hanging out today reading a book and she decided to giggle.  She got this really big smile on her face and then giggled!  It was the sweetest sound I’ve ever heard! I haven’t been able to get her to do it again but hopefully I will hear it soon (and Daddy will too!).

Yesterday we went to the Doctor to get the second round of Hepatitus shots for Lucy 🙁  They stuck that big needle in her leg and she bled and cried.  Thankfully she stopped crying after I cuddled her up to my chest-it took about 30 seconds to calm her down-she really is a chill baby-we are so LUCKY!!!

They also weighed her yesterday and she weighs, DRUMROLL PLEASE…..8 pounds 1 ounce!!! She’s gained almost 2 pounds in a month!  The milk machine (that would be me) is doing her job!

    Awesome!! Aren’t those giggles just precious! They really tug at your heart. 🙂

    Congrats on the weight gain and quick recovery on the shots (never my favorite either!).

    baby giggles are soooo sweet — I was just thinking about that the other when I realized Maya definitely has a “big girl” laugh. Treasure them — and get it on tape!!

    hello! thank you so much for the photo – i am at the moment making a “family” baby collage frame and she fits just perfect! the lingo side is a little underrepresented, must be all the catholics on my side tee-hee;)

    we hebben niet met 1-6 maar met 1-8 veerolenrn dat pakken we hun dan terug, als wuij dan weer tegen hun moeten spellenwij uit tegen hun thuis. Daar kunnen wij er op gaan vertrouwen op dat momment,dat zou gert en lia ook zeggen gr van stefan
